So I have sensory issues from Autism because of an accumulation of stuff like noise or the texture of my clothes for example. It can become very physically uncomfortable and upsetting for me as my nervous system gets overloaded.
Unfortunately I can't always hide the feelings of being stressed, and my agitation will likely be very obivous from face and body language cues.
Sometimes this happens in public, and people can occasionaly become visibly startled when I enter their line of sight, or I just sense a general air of them being uncomfortable about my presence.
Is there anything you have to suggest I might not have done yet to help stop negative first-impressions of me or atleast how to cope with feeling like a freakshow?
