I (25M) met someone thru a friend (24F) last night at a game night. We were laughing and talking throughout the night. I wanna get to know her more but idk when the next time she’ll be around when I hangout w that friend. Would it be weird if I followed her on Instagram (she didn’t give it to me) and when she follows back send her a dm? I didn’t ask for her number or get her 1 on 1 cuz it was just the 5 of us. I’m not really too sure what to do tbh.

You have two options:
A) Ask the friend for the girls number and say you got her number through the mutual friend because you wanted to get to know her more and what’s up.
Or
B) Follow her on insta (and hopefully she follows back), mention you saw her profile as suggested because you guys hopefully follow the same people (works if you already follow the mutual friend) and talk to her through there.
Following her on Instagram is fine, but make sure not to overdo it
