Hi Folks,

a quick follow up from my nearly one year old post:

https://www.reddit.com/r/AskMenOver30/comments/1i6vvs5/iam_the_old_office_dude_now/

Some time has passed, something changed, something is the same, responsibilitys passed down on me, some "easy jobs" are of my shoulders for i am "to important to do the entrys jobs" now.

As i am the "old man" now in the office, we had 2 new employees, 20 and 21.

The most important part for me, selfesteem-wise, was that they came to me first and asked about this and that. I was in charge of "giving knowledge to the younger ones". And i cant stress enough how this first few weeks with new colleagues may change the course of everything in their "employee-company" worldview. It also changed how i behave with other colleagues and my boss.

its not like i would do anything to get rid of it, but it was a little easier a year ago when the expectations were not on my shoulders. but overall, i like it now.

and i start to see some things in life different, don´t know why but i take things more lightweight on my shoulders for "nearly anythin can be solved when you thoroughly think about it".

feel free to ask questions again, id like to share my knowledge to whomever it may help.
