After matching sometime in the late evening, spending almost the entire next day texting, and having a 3 hour discord call I felt the vibes were good and asked her about her policy on first dates.
She told me that while she really enjoyed talking to me, she didnt have time to date right now and that the earliest time would be mid february, when her exam season is over.
Almost 3 and a half months from now.
She had also earlier mentioned how she doesnt talk to multiple people at the same time on the app after matching with someone, and I told her that I dont either.
So I would essentialy be commiting myself to her just for the chance of a good first date 3 months down the line.
Nevermind the pressure of somehow keeping up good texting for that whole time, always with the risk of out of the blue ghosting.
The thing is, Im not exactly swarmed with likes or matches, and I have a really good feeling with her, so I would actually be inclined to give it a chance.
Its just that I always hear that you should try for a first date as soon as possible, so Im wondering if waiting this long is a bad Idea?
Whats the longest y'all have ever waited for a first date/would be willing to tolerate?
