I (22F) am moving into a flat with another girl (I don’t know her) in a couple of weeks. It’s my first time moving out of home, I know the area very well but if I’m totally honest had a very unindependent upbringing (e.g. didn’t have chores) so prepared for a little bit of a shock with everything to do.
Obviously I know the basics – keep the place tidy, clean up after myself, washing my dishes etc. But what would you have liked to know before moving into one? Or what would you like a flatmate to know?
