How work is safe for long truck drivers across the EU?

Hello everyone! 🙂

I’m considering working as a truck driver within the EU and wanted to ask people from different countries about the current situation with safety on the roads and at rest stops.

I’d really appreciate your input on the following:

1) How safe do truck drivers feel in your country (both on the road and at parking/rest areas)?

2) Are theft, cargo break-ins, or attacks on drivers common where you live?

3) Has safety improved or declined in recent years?
