Hey everyone,
I’m in my mid-20s, doing my MSc online while also working fully remote. My family are out of town for two weeks, so I’ve been home alone. I have exams next week and a bunch of college assignments due, which is why I didn’t go with them.
It’s been 3 days so far and honestly… I feel great. Peaceful. Not in a “I hate my family” way, I’m just naturally introverted. I haven’t really interacted with anyone except a 10-minute online meeting for work. The rest of my time has just been studying, exercising, cooking, and keeping up with deadlines.
I know this is only short-term, but I don’t feel lonely or depressed at all. If anything, I feel more focused and balanced without constant interaction.
Is it weird to go a week or more with almost no socialising and actually enjoy being home alone? Or is this just normal introvert behaviour?
