I’m 40, turning 41 next month. This year has been one injury after another without a change in lifestyle. I’ve had to modify my regular workout routines to accommodate the current injury at the time and now it seems like I’m always so sore I can’t even do any workouts except swimming. Even tried an elliptical and it destroyed my hips. Feeling really low and frustrated.
Any tips or advice?

Edit: Got a few comments mentioning working out as a fix. I just want to address that here instead of replying to all of them individually:

Until earlier this year I did workout religiously. Literally tracked my workouts on a spreadsheet with heart rate zones etc. I did 3x functional strength training sessions per week, 2 cardio’s (rowing or swimming) and 1x yoga.
I still do try and train but am limited by what seems like constant injuries and that’s why I’m so frustrated. My latest injury in my side was literally done during the cool down stretching after working out and now I’m just fed up.
