Visiting UK clients in January – Is it a good idea or awkward timing?

Hi everyone,

I’m planning a business trip to the UK and want to visit some clients in person. Right now, it seems tricky because December is full of holidays and many offices are closed. I’m considering going in January 2026 instead.

For those of you who work in UK offices or have experience with local business culture:

1. Is January a reasonable time to schedule client meetings, or is it still too early after the holidays?

2. Are there any particular weeks in January that are better or worse for business visits?

3. Any general tips about UK clients’ availability and business habits during this period?
