I always like to use utensils or gloves for eating. For example, I'd use chopsticks for chips, cookies, etc., and I'd wear gloves for chicken, burgers, tacos, etc. It's not because I'm germaphobic, I just want to keep my hands from getting greasy.
But a lot of people called me "childish" and "immature" for doing this, and I was wondering if it's a cultural thing in America.
Edit: Thanks for the input. I never realized eating with gloves was an extremely odd thing to do in the States. Doing smth like this is super common where I'm from, but lol Americans must've thought I was autistic or smth 🥀
