Every week I go out with my group of friends and we do something. I’ve been friends with these people for a few months ever since I moved to the area and was looking for new friends. I am currently dating with the intention of finding someone to settle down with and my guy friend knows this (let’s call him Adam). Adam texts me nonstop with a lot of trauma dumping and asking me super personal questions that only a therapist would ask and proceeds to give me his answer which is incredibly detailed and gives me more information about him than I ever would want to know. To be honest, I enjoy the overall friend group but I find Adam’s presence creepy and overbearing. He recently posted a two page love poem about me that makes me incredibly uncomfortable and seems to pose the argument that I am closed off and he needs to solve the puzzle that is me.
I don’t want to sit anywhere near this man, he is creeping me the F out. I don’t want to leave the friend group, how do I send this guy the message that I do not reciprocate his feelings and am not interested in being friends or anything else? He’s literally entering stalker territory. He talks about how he loves to stare at me. Please help. If anyone wants the poem, I will DM it to you. It’s super creepy and he posted it to our city’s Discord.
