I was thinking about the intersecting rise of the alt right and tradwives, and their presence online. In the UK there is a growing alt right, but in my (albeit limited sample size of one) life, I have not come across any "modern" (pun not intended) tradwives in the UK. They seem to be limited to the US still. I watched the Stacey Dooley documentary on UK trad wives, and it seemed to be a very limited community.
So let me know your experiences – are you part of a trad family? Or a childhood friend now living this life? Let me know your experiences and if you think it is something on the rise in the UK.
(FYI – a stay at home parent of any gender is not automatically a trad wife or automatically a tradfam, but most likely making the best choice for their family. Looking for real experiences based on the current movement taking shape online. )
