Every year around October when the clocks go back i can feel my mood dropping slightly. This continues and probably gets worse with all the "Christmas Hype" that starts in November.
To combat this year, ive knocked all alcohol on the head and tried to get into an exercise routine, but its still hitting hard. Taking Vit D supplements too.
I think its because most of of my hobbies (running/cycling/golf) become just very unenjoyable this time of year with the cold and rain. I still try to do them, but its definitely a chore and nowhere near as enjoyable.
I end up doing things in the house (gaming, reading, watching TV series) but i just get so bored sat around the house and end up scrolling on my phone going into an even lower mood.
How do you combat this? Any tips on how to survive winter keeping mentally sane?
