I’m at a company that holds these talks that people outside of the company talk at and usually people will sit and ask questions afterwards. I’ve been to a few and they were fine but the latest one, the girl wanted people to share what they wanted out of the talk. Its like, idk bro I dont know you or care, I was just forced to come here lol.

Anyways enough of my rant I just have such a hard time when I’m put on the spot like that, like if I had time to prepare what to say I would probably be okay. But idk I just feel like everyone around me at this company is so good at communicating and thinking up questions to ask on the spot and I can never think of anything like that.

Like even during the hiring process this one guy was getting annoyed at the new hires for not having any questions to ask at the end of his speech. There was only like seven of us and I miraculously came up with a question I genuinely had, but when it’s a situation where you don’t know what information is going to be shared I just am at a loss at how to come up with questions…

Dont know if this is the right subreddit for this but yeah
