There’s a girl I really like. We’ve known each other for a long time, and we’ve always been close, though we’re not officially a couple.
Recently, she told me to block her for six months because she wants to “have fun with other guys” and experience everything sexually before coming back to me. I told her that I love her and that I’ve already had my experiences long before I met her. For the last 5–6 years, I haven’t even been sexually active.
I honestly don’t know how to explain to her how much that request hurts. I feel like she doesn’t understand how deeply that affects me. It’s not just jealousy — it feels like she’s treating me as a placeholder while she explores.
Am I overreacting? Should I actually block her and move on, or wait like she asked?
