I’ve visited America thrice, and I found it amusing that many cars on the roads had a bunch of stickers on them. Like, not from the car manufacturer, but from the owner/user of the car, relating to almost anything and everything from their owner’s personal lives.
Many times, there were stickers about favourite sports teams, favourite politicians, pets, how many kids were in the household, or about some cause that the owner found important.
I found this very interesting, and it begs the question as to how the automobile is viewed? For some, it seems to be not just a way to get around, but also a way to get noticed? Like using one’s own car as a personal billboard of sorts? Does that make sense or is it completely misunderstood?
