so for context, me and him have been together for about nine months and since we first met, he would always say he was going to marry me and would call me by his last name and all of those things. I never brought up the marriage first it was his idea. however, about a week ago, he told me that he would not marry me. he then said that maybe he would if I was his first and we had kids together, but I guess since he already has kids with another woman that’s his reason why he won’t marry me. he gave me a couple of other excuses like “I don’t want to rebuild my life” and then he would give mixed signals like : “well I don’t wanna get married right now” and he also said “ wait till I have a house” . so I’m just getting very mixed signals. It’s like you say you don’t want to marry me but then you do? but now you’re telling me I need to wait? The answer is very unclear and so I’m just so confused. am I getting too ahead of myself since we havent even been a together a year? he just acts like everything is so normal afterwards too, and I can’t seem to get over it.
