  1. Sometimes when I’m alone at breakfast, I’m doing some quick games on my phone. And maybe I’m just too laid back a person, but to me it’s just astonishing how angry and frustrated some people can be at 6:30 on a Monday morning.
How can you expect your day to go, when you’re already this close to boiling before the sun is up?

Hope you all have a nice week.

  2. Yesterday’s prompt was [shredded](https://www.deviantart.com/tereyaglikedi/art/Inktober-2025-Day-12-Shredded-1251672391). I am quite happy with this one. I love these little fellows.

Today is the start of another school break. German schools are organised quite differently to Turkish ones. We didn’t have these short holidays, we had one long semester break and another long summer break. I think I prefer it that way.

My mom was visiting her cousin for a bit (her aunt died recently, so it’s a bit of an obligation. Not that they love each other very much). She’s still complaining about the apartment. It seems like her cousin has just too much stuff. My mom hates clutter. She would constantly throw away my stuff when I was still living with her.

I think I also have too much stuff (I mean, by my mom’s definition even something like having paintings on the wall is too much, and I have plenty). Next time I move, I’ll make an effort to reduce the stuff again. It sneaks up on me.

I guess my real question is, how different or similar are you to your parents?

  3. Does anyone know which countries use the note “h” instead of b? Wikipedia says central and Eastern Europe, but I don’t know what that exactly means. What about Greece, for example? Romania?

What do you use? We use the sol-fa, not letters, and diesis-bemol for sharp and flat.

  4. Faroe Islands won again last night in the World Cup qualifiers, and now have a reasonable chance of at least qualifying for a playoff… they might even make it to the US next year!

That would be something of a miracle for such a tiny place with a total population around 50,000 people or so

I was there in June and went to the stadium,it was an interesting experience!
