I just got an email saying that some of my data has been compromised because of a Discord data breach and I'm blaming the Online Safety Bill for making it even worse because it wanted you to submit a fucking selfie. (Thankfully I didn't have to submit my ID but even just submitting a selfie felt invasive)
Since this has made things even worse, what can I do? I'm on Discord quite a lot and I'd rather not have to leave.
Edit: OK, I've had a chance to calm down slightly and I realise that, in my particular case, the issue isn't really the Online Safety Bill and more that Discord's security is just a bit shit. However there are cases of people who have had to submit their ID because Discord didn't get their age right and they're the people who are more justified in blaming the Online Safety Bill.
