There's a clip circulating on various social media sites showing a kid being asked their favourite cartoon, the kid not understanding what a "cartoon" is, and then going on to mention their favourite YouTubers and streamers.
I'm not someone who takes a single clip and believes that can apply to every single person the clip is referencing, but I am curious about how children now are interacting with children's media.
With the increase in YouTube content and streaming sites, and decrease in actual TV use (I haven't watched TV in at least 8 years), I'm curious if it's similar for parents. Growing up we had CBBC, Boomerang, Nickelodeon etc etc, do kids still watch these channels or that type of content?
