Recently returned from Edinburgh and was surprised to notice that there was no prominence in Gaidhlig in everyday life apart from Police cars and Ambulance from what I seen.
I believe that Wales promotes Welsh greatly with road signs and towns etc posted in both English and Welsh, which is the same in Ireland.
I was surprised by the lack in Scotland due to always believing and being told that Ireland and Scotland are similar.
I am aware that Ireland does not promote the language as much as it should and impressed by the Welsh attitude.
