Sorry, no clue where else to post this.

Asked British Gas about two months ago to register my new build home’s electricity meter onto the national database so we can get a quote for electricity and change over to a cheaper tariff. So currently being charged a ridiculous unknown rate whilst we wait on the ability to change tariffs.

It’s still not done. It’s definitely still in the process as they’ve said they’re still waiting for it to be done.

For anyone else who has done this, how long did it take for your electricity meter to be registered?
