Hi everyone,

I (27F) and my partner (29M) have been together for almost 1.5 years now. Overall, it’s been a good relationship, but about a month ago we went through a rough patch.

The main issue was that I couldn’t fully understand what he was going through at the time, and he couldn’t understand me either. I’ll admit I was overstepping in some ways, which eventually led to a big fight. Things have calmed down since then, and we’re not in a bad place, but it hasn’t quite felt the same.

We still share good and fun moments together, but I can’t help missing how it used to be — lots of laughter, constant giggling, that easy lightness. I know that with time, the “spark” can naturally fade, but in our case I feel like it’s more because of that fight than time itself.

The good thing is, he’s not angry at me anymore. In fact, he’s the one who brought this up recently because he wants to fix it and make sure the relationship works, which I really appreciate.

So my question is:
• For couples who have gone through something similar, how did you bring back that spark?
• Are there things I can do to make him feel more comforted and reassured?
• Or things we can do together to bring back that charm and lightheartedness we had before?

Would really love to hear your experiences or suggestions.
