About 2 years ago, I was at a hen party. The bride is a friend of ours and she and her husband asked for a joint party. My friend and I organized the party with the two best men. The first activities were separate but then they wanted to end the night in a joint party. My husband was out of town for work.
It went great until the party and I took some pills and I blacked out and woke up with one of the best men. My husband divorced me. Now two years later my ex is still best friend with my best friend’s husband. So my best friend finally told her husband what happened that night. Her husband was shocked and told her that it wasn’t cheating and he went to tell my ex husband everything.
He has texted me wanting to talk and he said that he was sorry. Not sure what to include more as context.
I confessed everything to my husband immediately when it happened. I didn’t lie. I told him I cheated on him.
He has a gf now.
Should I meet him? I have heard from family members that he wants to talk to me about reconciliation.
