If you were looking for a partner online or offline, what approaches or places worked best for you? Dating apps, social events, college, work, etc.?

  1. Honestly? It’s been a mix. Dating apps are like the clearance section at a store — sometimes you find a gem, sometimes it’s just chaos and regret. Social events worked better, especially when I wasn’t actually ‘looking,’ just hanging out. College was basically ‘forced proximity speed dating,’ and work… well, HR says I shouldn’t talk about that.
TL;DR: best chances came from hobbies or friends of friends. Apparently, bonding over mutual nerdiness is more reliable than swiping right on a guy holding a fish
