A guy on a dating app asked for my Instagram instead of my phone number. Usually if a guy does this, I assume he’s not serious because why would you ask for a social media account instead of my phone number? I also don’t like sharing my Instagram because I only have like 30 followers. I was sick of my Instagram with tons of people I don’t know so I deleted it and made a private one for just my close friends and family so I can post whatever I want and be myself. I don’t really want to share that with a guy I don’t know too well.
UPDATE: Thanks for the insight, everyone. I haven’t been on a date since April so I’m trying to be more open minded this time around. That’s why I asked this question to get everyone’s opinion before I jump to conclusions.
