Lots of guys always tell me to use dating apps because it's another way to meet women. Dude, dating apps suck and I don't get any matches or likes. Even if I did pay for hinge, bumble, or tinder it doesn't lead me anywhere.
Last time I tried apps for 8 months, and I never gotten a single match l, if I did I say sentence and they immediately unmatched me. So what's the point of using dog shit apps if they don't work for the average guy.
Also, last time I posted a profile review I got bombarded with the whole community telling me I should delete the app and never try again. Also, I'm 5'2 so apparently lots of women will filter me out due to my height. So, no I won't use or download apps ever again.

Judging from your comment it’s not the apps that are the issue, it’s you.
I’m 5’10 so not exactly short, but I’m ugly and fat. I still get a couple of matches a week. Despite being fat and ugly I’m a pretty interesting guy, I do stand up comedy, I used to be a musician, and my other hobbies are accessible enough that even though someone I’m talking to might not be into them, they aren’t seen as weird. I have a good profile that presents me in a positive but honest way. I’d say about half the matches I get turn into dates.
I say all that because it sounds like you did get matches, you just managed to instantly put them off of talking to you. That has nothing to do with the app or you being short, but everything to do with how you interact with people
I’m a woman, but at least half of my guy friends are not on dating apps because they have way more success offline. But regardless, online dating is brutal and is pretty much setting you up for failure with the algorithm so that you pay for the app, HOWEVER I’ll be honest and say most men put up profiles that aren’t very great. Like doing only group pictures, or putting just car selfies on there, adding crude or really suggestive lines in the prompts etc etc. not saying you do all of that, but many men really do not see how their profiles are not very appealing. If you do ever want to try online dating again, I’d look up advice on what works and what doesn’t, that doesn’t mean posting your profile, but seeking out what elements a successful one has
Apps are a force multiplier. So people recommend it based on that general point recognizing its effectiveness in specific situations.
It be like that
Because it’s the primary way of meeting someone these days. But with a height like that yeah better to try and meet someone some other way somehow.
God hates you.
Maybe just trying to help🤔

I’d try one where EVERYONE has to pay. Typcially if there is an upfront cost you find a lot more people who are serious and want a return on their “investment”.
The problem with free apps is that people are encouraged to fool around and are not really interested to commit.
