Hey Reddit,
I had a great date a few days ago. We really clicked, talked a lot and kissed a ton. She was super enthusiastic and even said something like “next time I can bring my stuff and stay over.”
The day after the date I texted her:
“We were talking yesterday about meeting on the weekend, did you mean this weekend?”
She replied:
“Next one is better, I’m already busy this week.”
Yesterday I sent this:
“So I have quite a busy schedule next weekend, but do you have time next Monday or Wednesday evening? Then we can go out for dinner if you like.”
It has been a full day with no reply. Part of me thinks I should relax because she literally said she wants to meet up again. Another part of me feels anxious and keeps overthinking the silence.
How do you deal with this? Should I wait another day and maybe send a light follow up if she still does not reply or should I see the lack of response as a sign that she is not that interested?
I would love some advice from people who have been through this. I want to stay calm and not turn this into something stressful.
