I saw [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Turkey/comments/1nel8us/vapur_yerine_kendi_arabas%C4%B1yla_kar%C5%9F%C4%B1ya_ge%C3%A7enler/) about people crossing the Bosporus by car in the 60s, and thought, hm, looks a little sus. But then I checked it out and it seems like [they were a thing?](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amphicar) has anyone seen one of these? I want one. Though it doesn’t seem like they sit high enough in water to be safe 😅

  2. Man, Reddit is a bit tiring.

    I read that Bolsonaro got a pretty hefty jail sentence, and was hoping that in a sub like worldnews one might find some Brazilians talking about their point of view on things. But 90% of the comments are by Americans talking about America and Trump 😞

    I did find some Brazilians who emphasized that it wasn’t “easy” as some people believe. Which I liked.
