I've been using tinder and FB dating off and on for 2 years now between 2-3mo relationships. A lot of times a first message never gets a response or there's a couple back and forth messages on initial match then nothing. Are we deleting these? Circling back first after a bit then deleting or leaving them in the graveyard and for what reason??
I've usually got a few active at any time, I'll leave them , circle back. Give it 48-72hrs and delete. I realize how inundated women's in boxes are so i send something a bit jokingly and off the wall to elicit a reply or unmatch.
Sometimes these dead matches come around after something didn't work out. I've had one good relationship come from reaching out after 3 weeks of no contact.
On one hand I'd rather someone unmatch, on the other taking into account all the competition it's easy to get lost so reaching out with a strong message sometimes brings it back.
This last week I hit 4 dead matches 2 reached out positive same day, one unmatched and one did nothing (maybe not currently using the app)
What have you're results been and what is your stance on just purging or giving em a second go?
