I recently made a post asking for advice on asking out a woman I've noticed and bagged for once at the grocery store job I work at. I felt like it might be a bad idea to do it, so thanks for all the comments saying that it's a bad idea and that she'll be creeped out and never come back or she'd complain to someone and I'd be fired for it. Glad I trusted my instincts enough to ask first before doing it.
I'm just going to stick to my original plan of just complimenting her dyed hair (replying to some comments I got on my last post about how I shouldn't say that, it's a very bright red, so I'm pretty sure it's dyed) and maybe say that I like her fashion sense and leaving it at that without asking her out.
And as one commenter pointed out, even in the very unlikely chance she said yes, once she found out more about me (I still live at home, can't drive yet, work a retail job several years after college instead of the job I actually want in my late 20's) she would lose interest in me anyway. There's just no good outcome in that situation.
