Hey everyone! Currently I run a small detailing shop. It’s basically me doing all the day to day operations and I have a close friend that handles business paperwork and office related components. We’ve been going for 6 years now. And I’ve been doing some form of detailing since I was 17. Now I’m 31 and 32 isn’t far off. I’ve gotten to the point where I’ve been thinking about a new career. Possibly electrical related. I’m pretty darn good with wiring, rewired our house (old ungrounded wiring on 1 circuit) rewired the garage (adding a sub panel and separate circuits vs the fire hazard previous owners did) I’ve also done a good amount of automotive electrical wiring. Everyone says I have a knack for it.

With the detailing business I make ok money but no benefits and it’s not where I’d like to be. With the economy we’ve been slowing down a bit too. I’m also getting older and slower and I can’t go as fast as I could in the past. I’m also feeling like I’ve reached the peak and only way to expand is having employees and making a full blown business. But I’m having a hard time with seeing the scalability of doing this.

Just looking for any thoughts, opinions, advice. Anything because I just feel stuck and I’m not sure what I want to do, but time keeps marching on.
