I think got catfished for the first time in my life on Bumble lol

I matched with this one guy today, one of his opening moves had said ‘what made you smile recently’ and I responded

Me: My friend whom i visited yesterday
Him: Ah lovely. How are you
Me: I’m doing great how about yourself?
Him: Good thanks just quit my job xx

(I didn’t see this coming and i kinda laughed to myself and i didn’t know what to say 😂😂) I didn’t wanna say the wrong thing so i just said ‘I’m really sorry. I am pretty sure you made a good decision for yourself right?’

He responded with Yeah i worked in porn so it was time for a change

What?😭😭😭 i was dumb folded (no hate to anyone who works in that industry) but i was so confused because why would even tell someone that you work in that industry so soon. Am i wrong? I just had a feeling and i screenshot one of his pictures and i did google image search and i saw an instagram of the owner of the pictures.

One would say how did you know that he was a catfish. Well because i looked at the instagram account and the pictures are amazing they were taken professionally most of them except for a couple of them, those are the ones the person used.

The real person is Italian and they live in Rome according to his IG bio, i was reading the comments on different posts all of them are written in Italian language. On bumble the catfish says he lives 15 miles away from me, i don’t live in Italy nor close to Italy lol.

Am i wrong for thinking its a catfish? Should i ask the person on IG if he has a Bumble account?

This is my confirmation to delete my Bumble account, i have been thinking of doing it for a few days now.
