I’ve tried it. I start the conversations or continue them with the typical templates like “What do you like to do after work?” But my problem is when they answer. I have no clue what to do. After they answer I say “Ok” and turn my head the other way and stay silent. The anxiety kills me. What am I supposed to say after? How do people come up with things to say on the spot without it sounding like an interview the whole time?
