This randomly popped into my head today and now I can’t stop thinking about it.

I was at the gym, listening to Theo Von on a podcast, and just thought—how many other people are probably in this city, in the same life stage, listening to the same stuff, wondering how to make real friends again?

Like imagine if AI wasn’t just recommending more videos or showing you slightly more addictive content… but instead it learned the human stuff about you:

  • You hit the gym 3–4x a week, casually
  • You’re married, recently-ish, and figuring out what social life even looks like now
  • You love creative humor—Theo Von, Andrew Schultz, that kind of chaotic honesty
  • You also love nerding out about social trends, history, AI, podcasts, future-of-humanity stuff
  • You’re introverted sometimes but still want to connect with people who aren’t exhausting

And then you just get something like:

Like… how cool would that be?

No endless profile scrolling, no small talk prep, no awkward group chat. Just a little AI nudge:
“Hey, these are your people. They’re free. Wanna go?”

I know it’s probably a privacy minefield and 5 years away from realistic, but man. That would make life feel easier in the best way.

Come on OpenAI… cook this up already
