I’ve just moved into my first home since living with parents. We’ve always adopted rescue dogs and I’d love to continue this in my new home. I’ve been trying to work out the logistics but it seems cruel that with my work hours I’d be leaving the dog home alone from 7/8am-5:30pm 4 days a week. Growing up our dogs were never really left alone for more than a few hours. Just wondering if people who are out of the house for similar hours have dogs and how they make it work? I was looking at doggy daycares but most seem to open too late for me to make it to work on time.
