I'm asking here mainly because, to my knowledge, Euthymol toothpaste is only available in UK.

I've had gum and teeth problems most of my adult life and always used the usual toothpastes (Colgate/Oral-B, Sensodyne etc).

I randomly came across a pack when shopping and instantly bought it because I remember both my great grandad and my grandad swore by it and wouldn't use anything else. I didn't think it still even existed!
I was unaware it was flouride-free and everywhere I see info about Euthymol it seems to be panned – no flouride, extremely abrasive so will destroy your teeth, can be used to clean tile grout etc.

Thing is, my great grandad died at 99 years old and still had all his own teeth. My grandad died at 89 and he also still had his own teeth. Both used

Is it really that bad and should I avoid it or have others had positive, long term results?
