I (23F) have been married to my husband (27M) for two years now. Together for about 5. He makes a good living and for the last 8 months I have been a SAHW – no kids yet. Currently in WA, we’re moving to CO this November.
We’ve been through a LOT of rentals so I get why he’s ready to get out of this cycle. It’s not our first cross country move but I am still nervous about having such a short timeline then having to rush a purchase. He believes we can make it happen & I trust him 100%. But I’ll still ask for help ofc.
We don’t have much saved but our VA loan won’t require a down payment. We’ve not gone through the pre approval process yet so I’m not sure what our budget will be but I’d be happy in a double wide if it came down to it (it won’t).
Anyways! I wanted to ask the folks who have gone through a home purchase together (or even if someone has experience in real estate or loans) if you have any advice/tips/tricks/stories to share!
Ps also open to advice about the different neighborhoods in the Colorado Springs area.
