Can I put a mini freezer on top of a MDF top, which is above a combi boiler?

Hi, got a floor standing combi boiler, ventilation goes outside. Above the combi boiler is a gap and then a thick piece of counter top MDF. Are there any safety reasons why I shouldn't place a mini freezer on the MDF above the combi boiler?
