I was sitting in class today just chilling and I overheard some women talking about there dating lives. One of them said there boyfriend kind of makes them depressed and they haven't been together for very long but she doesn't want to break up with him. Her friend was like break up with him.
But then she asked if she was seeing anyone and her friend responded she just started dating a guy she met in Florida. We just got back from summer break and keep in mind Florida is a 16 hour drive so I'm not to sure this is a very deep relationship either. He also still lives there btw.
Granted this is just a conversation I overheard so I don't know the full story but both situations feel very much like they just want to be able to say they are dating someone. WHY? It seems so pointless and shallow.
