I (31F) have been dating my bf (26M) for almost 7 months now. He has been away for work for a bit due to a temporary work contract. I have been able to come visit him up there when able to. We are about 4+ hours away.
We share our locations (which was his idea and desire to) and he has gone out with friends here and there, staying out late. We would communicate often and he would call me everytime he got home.
Well he has a friend staying with him and I was up late doing some work stuff and watching TV and I was checking in on him here and there.
I saw he was at what I assumed a new bar. So, didn't think anything of it. After an hour or 2 I decided to check out the bar and upon my search I realized it was a strip club.
I immediately messaged him bc he never asked or told me if I would be okay with this or where he was even going (but then again there's a map bc we have locations turned on– which ironically blew up in his face).
I've been so thrown off and devastated by this. He tried calling me soon after he got back which was really late but I've ignored all calls bc I am so shocked and upset.
Am I overreacting? I don't really know how I feel about stripclubs but I'm really shocked that he would just go without checking in. He said he did it for his friend who is single but that's not an excuse. AND my bf has wanted to save money and he went there where literally you are throwing cash for ….what??… ass?? Not food. Not drinks. For ass and tits.
Idk– am I crazy?
