Update from post from last week

M(34) wife (33) update on wanting more interesting sex. Last night we were laying in bed and we finally talked about. I spoke to my wife how I felt that we were becoming roommates. She expressed to me how she felt the same.

We gently shared our concerns for our marriage and how we could improve them. It was mostly a conversation on how we would like to be shown love. She said hers were acts of kindness. I explained to her that I would get projects done as soon as she asks. I told her my love language was physical touch she said she would try harder doing that. I explained to her that it wasn't just a sexual touch, but hand holding randomly a kiss here or there where I'm not the one always initiating.

Then came the by one, I explained to her that I would like to spicy up our marriage a bit. She asked how. I asked her what if we try dirty texting, role play, sending nudes. Things like that. She said she would try.

Later that night when we were being intimate. She asked me to get a toy that we had in a drawer from when we first got married. It was amazing. I knew we had it, but it had been put away for so long. All it took was some honest communication on both our ends.
