I already know that if I read the comments I’ll probably feel insecure, but I wanted to ask honestly if this is a red flag or not.
I’m currently dating an Armenian guy. Physically he’s totally my type – handsome face, black hair. That’s basically what all the men I’ve been interested in had in common: dark hair, dark eyes.
Now I made the mistake of scrolling through his follower list and I noticed he follows a lot of blonde women. For context: we live in Germany, so it’s pretty common to see blondes here. He also studied in a small town where most people were probably German anyway.
I’m literally biracial 😂 – brown skin, dark hair, dark eyes basically the complete opposite. He does seem interested in me and we’re still in the very early stages of dating. But I can’t help wondering if this means I’m not really his type.
He did tell me he dated an Armenian girl before, so obviously she wasn’t blonde either. But the fact that he follows so many blond blue eyed women makes me wonder if that’s a sign of anything.
What do you think?
I mean in Germany it’s definitely less common to date someone biracial than to date someone blonde. On the other hand, it would also be weird if he specifically only ever dated other biracial people.
