I suspect the answer is no and it's just my personal preferences/algorithm. I have no idea why would this be the case. I just notice as time goes on more and more of the voices I listen to on Youtube are Northern. I've changed my Siri voice to Northern Siri.
I'm from Massachusetts, the linguistic and cultural history of this place is from the North. I would imagine that would be one reason this happens, me recognizing a familiar structure. Either that or just general cultural overlap with northerners.
