It was in the front of the bus. I have a separate one for travels. I just want my photos 🙁 I had everything from several different trips on it. As soon as I got off the bus I knew I'd left it. I filed a report through the bus. The phone was at 3% so unsure if someone would charge it. I leave for Amsterdam tommorow morning and I'm a bit stressed. I've been having people I know try to call it.

  1. Gone. Unless you get very very lucky. Like unbelievably lucky and someone hands it in. And that’s about a 10% chance tbh.

  2. Honestly mate it really depends on who finds it first. Hopefully it was a kind person who handed it into the driver and then they’ll hopefully hand it into lost property. Have you tried ringing customer services ? Also I’m assuming no cloud backup for the pictures ?

  3. Edinburgh? Two hopes.. bob hope and no hope.. but I hope you do. honest john might find it..

  4. Why not use Google photos to back up your pics?
Good luck getting it back anyway.

  5. What is the make of the phone? Did you have it synced with any cloud storage? Did you have any kid of find my device service running.

  6. Unlikely. It’s happened to me before in Edinburgh and they say they never found anything. Some scummy person stole it already or the drivers don’t give a shit

  7. Losing a phone shouldn’t be more than losing a bit of glass, metal and plastic.

In 2025 there’s no excuse for a lost device to result in lost photos or data.
