Most of my small-talks revolve around info-sharing and making vague comments about stuff I can or cannot relate to. I know a good small-talk should be spontaneous, but wtf do I talk about? How is it possible to keep the momentum going? There are people I have seen who are great at it. Whether it's humor, having an interesting response, whatever it is, it is more than surface level stuff. What do you say to poeple during small talk? How do you get to know each other without coming off as too interested in the other person's life? And most importantly, this should feel natural. A lot of conversations have ended wuthout me getting to know people properly and always just surface level stuff. Basic comments, predictable responses, boring questions. How do you make this fun?
