So my wife and I (both 45) have been married for a long time and love each other a great deal
That being said, I don't think I have ever figured out how to know if she is in the mood for sex. She says that she enjoys sex, but almost never initiates which I have come to be okay with. I just wish I could tell when she was interested.
I have expressed this to my wife and basically her answer is that sometimes she doesn't know either. She'll say stuff like… "Well, you just have to try and see what happens."
The problem is that this makes pursuing sex relatively "high risk".
If it goes well, great, if it goes poorly, I'm left feeling both horny and rejected.
Anyone have any hints on how to deal with this?
