so today i went to herons and went to the till. there was a commotion, staff shouting at a pair of smackheads, pair of smackheads shouting back. long story short they were accusing them of shoplifting earlier on in the day and then told them they were banned and not to come back
i had my kids with me and i was concerned things could properly kick off so i walked back round to the first aisle and realised they’d shut the shutters confining us in the store with said pair of smackheads (they were very nice to me, apologised for swearing in front of the bairns on their way out but not the point)
is this allowed? it made me feel even more unsafe like what if they were willing to risk it all and start attacking one of the staff members or customers. surely locking them in the store is just pointless? you’ve told them they’re barred before they’ve even had a chance to nick anything and yet you’re shutting us all in with them?
