I’ve recently realised that talking bad is actually not a bad thing. Respect goes both ways without a doubt. I give people my respect, but once they do something I don’t like, I don’t feel like respecting them anymore. I don’t overtly show it, a lot of people I know consider me to be a polite person, but only I will know how what I truly think of someone.
I wish I had the courage to talk back to my parents and teachers more. My parents are my favourite people in the world and I love them to bits, but I just want to get my point across without being seen as rude
It’s definitely risky to talk back to a teacher. Your reputation could be affected, you could get in trouble or that teacher might just end up hating you. I also don’t want a phone call home because I know some teachers like to twist the story. There are times I’ve felt disrespected at school, but I just stay silent for those reasons.
I think that talking back gets a bad rep because there are some people who can be rude when doing so. I onlymthink it’s good as a way to stand up for yourself.
