I'm just trying to understand why this keeps happening. I'm not sure if it's caused by my social skills or something else. Whenever I talk to new people, my accent becomes more noticeable and my voice gets a lot deeper or just don't feel like I make sense. It doesn’t really sound like me or at least not how I sound when I'm around people I'm comfortable with.
It only happens with new people, and honestly, it feels a bit odd. I've even been told it sounds kind of cringe, even though I’m just trying to speak normally. I'm not nervous when I talk to these people it just happens automatically. Is there a reason for this? or am I in the wrong sub haha
